About
the Festival
MusiQuest is a national level piano festival. Presented in
an informal and friendly workshop/ masterclass format, the
participants have the unique opportunity not only for public
performance but to extend their musical learning experience
by receiving instruction at the piano as well as written adjudications
and participation certificates from the international panel
of adjudicators. The emphasis is on encouragement and positive
criticism. The festival fosters musical performance, learning
and interaction among budding young talent from across the
country. MusiQuest is a private non-profit festival operates
solely on the receipt of entry fees and program advertising
and is further subsidized by the Academy of Music.
